Program Overview

As part of our commitment to advancing smart manufacturing and energy management in the Midwest, manufacturers who complete our micromodule training series become eligible for specialized technical assistance. Upon completion of training, participating manufacturers gain access to our network of Industrial Assessment Centers and their expertise. These technical assistance services are designed to help manufacturers translate their training knowledge into practical implementation, offering personalized guidance for their specific operational needs and goals.

Initial Contact

After completing our training modules or participating in our cohorts, reach out to us at: smartmanufacturing@mwalliance.org

Industrial Assessment Center Connection

Our team at MEEA will review your request and connect you with the most appropriate Industrial Assessment Center for your needs and location.

Consultation

Your assigned Industrial Assessment Center will conduct an initial consultation via email or phone to:

  • Assess your facility's specific needs
  • Identify relevant resources
  • Discuss potential solutions

Extended Support

If additional expertise is needed, your Industrial Assessment Center will connect you with specialized organizations and resources to ensure comprehensive support for your manufacturing needs.

Participating Organizations

Manufacturers seeking technical assistance will be directed to the Industrial Assessment Center that can best address their specific needs. These centers, located in the four pilot states, provide specialized expertise and support tailored to different aspects of manufacturing. Depending on the nature of the request, manufacturers may be routed to an Industrial Assessment Center within their state or to one with the most relevant experience for their particular challenge.
